Steth IO’s mobile application works hand in hand with our stethoscope device. The application allows you to both hear and see heart sounds thanks to its visualization capabilities. The app gives the user a real-time phonocardiogram to assist in analyzing and with a diagnosis. Medical professionals using the application can choose between heart and lung settings to make a recording and then record multiple segments for any given patient.
While Steth IO will work with any headphones including the default Apple headphones and Airpods, any purchased Steth IO device comes with a pair of Sony WI-C300 Wireless In-Ear Headphones. We have tested these and found them to be excellent for auscultation
